Iowa Assessment Goals and Results 2016-17

Listed below are the Academic Goals set by St. Edmond Catholic School and the results of our testing and what the achievements of our students in relationship to those goals

Academic Goals- 2016-2017 – With results

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION GOALS

Elementary:

The average national standard score in reading for 4th grade students in the 2016 – 2017 academic year will increase from the previous year based on the Iowa Assessment building profile.

** Achieved our goal by 26.9%

Middle School:

The average national standard score in science for 7th grade students in the 2016 – 2017 academic year will increase from the previous year based on the Iowa Assessment building profile.

** Achieved our goal by 28.4%

High School:

The average national standard score in math for the 10th grade students in the 2016 – 2017 academic year will increase from the previous year based on the Iowa Assessment building profile.

** Achieved our goal by 17.6%

2016 – 2017 Academic School Board Goals

80% of the students at each grade level 4-5 willeitherscore in the 90thpercentile or achieve their expected growth on the Iowa Assessments in the area of reading

** Achieved our goal: 86%

80% of the students at each grade level 6-8 will either score in the 90th percentile or achieve their expected growth on the Iowa Assessments in the area of science.

** Achieved our goal: 89%

80% of the students at each grade level 9-11 will either score in the 90th percentile or achieve their expected growth on the Iowa Assessments in the areas of science, math and reading.
